ABOUT JESSE DAGOSTINO

Jesse was born in 1995 and lives in Bunbury, Western Australia. He has many interests, especially working on his computer where he spends many hours making creative designs and radio programs. Some of Jesse's other interests include catching up with friends, going to the movies and listening to music. Jesse also attends social ballroom dancing each week with DanceWorx.

Jesse lives with his parents, Tony and Carol and his younger brother and sister, Domenic and Kate.

In 1998 Jesse was diagnosed with autism. Whilst the diagnosis left the family very devastated, they were determined to find out everything they possibly could about Autism. They wanted to ensure Jesse could grow up living as normal a life as possible. Autism has affected Jesse's life in many ways, especially in social areas, but he continues to work on these challenges and strives to be a happy, positive person.

Jesse is currently supported by Enable South West, an organisation based in Bunbury that supports people with disabilities and encourages them to be active community members.
